The Queen Died!

In my last email, I mentioned how my first trip to Ibiza was somewhat unexpected and spontaneous.

We were initially heading to London for the Group Therapy Weekender event hosted by Above and Beyond.

Mid-flight, the forecast predicted rain, cold, and cloudy conditions for the entire weekend.

Since the event was to be held outdoors, we were concerned it would dampen our experience.

Upon landing in London, TV announcements were everywhere—informing us that the Queen had passed away.

Unsure of what to expect, whether anything would be open, or if music would even be allowed following this unfortunate news, we made a quick decision at London Heathrow.

Looking for the sunniest place within easy reach, we debated between Majorca and Ibiza.

Opting for a weekend filled with music and DJs, we chose Ibiza, hoping to catch David Guetta.

In the moment, while still at the airport, we booked a flight to Ibiza and quickly booked a hotel room through the Hyatt portal using our points.

We found 7Pines Ibiza.

This turned into one of the best unexpected events of our lives.

We absolutely loved the resort, enjoyed seeing David Guetta, and cherished everything about Ibiza—the sunshine, the people, and the food.

Since then, we've returned to the same resort last year and plan to visit again this year.

We also recently discovered a 7Pines location in Sardinia

(which I mentioned in my last email how I booked it without the points in my digital wallet)

And we're very excited about it.

I'm sharing this story in hopes to inspire you.
